About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Roof Slater to join a client working on residential and private projects in the Haddington area.
This position can be offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities
- Installation of natural slate roofing
- Cutting and fixing slate tiles
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on pitched roofs
- Working safely at height
- Maintaining good workmanship and site standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in slate roofing
- (Candidates with less experience may be considered if willing to learn and be trained)
- Ideally 3–4 years’ roofing experience
- Own transport preferred depending on location
