About the Role
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40k - £60k
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in brickwork projects to join our clients team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services on projects ranging in value from £500k to £5m.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the pre-contract activities including estimating, cost planning, and tender documentation for drylining projects.
- Manage the preparation and submission of valuations, payment notices, and final accounts for drylining projects.
- Procure subcontractors and suppliers and manage the subcontractor payment process for drylining projects.
- Assess and resolve contractual claims and disputes for drylining projects.
- Prepare and maintain project cost reports and forecasts for drylining projects.
- Liaise with the client, design team, and project manager to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience working as QS ideally with brickwork experince.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience using industry-standard software including Excel and project management software.
